CIGRE-IEC 2019 Conference on EHV and UHV (AC & DC)

-New Trends in Advanced Technologies for Efficient, Economical and Resilient Power Systems-
Hakodate, Japan - April 23-26, 2019

The 5th International Conference on EHV and UHV in association with CIGRE and IEC will bring together key players in the electric power systems sector: Transmission and substation engineers, generation engineers, system operators, designers, manufacturers, contractors, regulators, research institutions, testing laboratories and universities. The conference is a unique forum to share exciting new research and breakthroughs, raise issues or questions, discuss future directions and network with leading professionals from all over the world. A technical visit to LCC and VSC types HVDC converter stations of EPDC (J-Power) and Hokkaido EPCO will be organized on Friday April 26, 2019.

Located at the southernmost tip of Hokkaido, Hakodate is the third largest city on the northern island. It rejoices in breathtaking views, delicious fresh seafood and a magnificent natural environment.
The view from Mt. Hakodate now appears as Three Stars in the revised 2nd edition of Michelin Green Guide Japon. In addition, many buildings, parks and slopes in Hakodate appear in the guidebook.

Submissions

Participants wishing to present papers are invited to submit a 6-8 page full paper directly in English of CIGRE format by November 20, 2018. through the online system at www.cigre2019.jp The submitted full paper will be peer reviewed and may be requested to be modified. If the correction is inadequate, the submitted full paper will be rejected.
Final paper must be revised following the comments, and submitted by February 14, 2019.
Presentation formats of these selected papers will be either through oral session or poster, and these will be decided by the Organizing committee. If your paper is accepted, then you must attend either session.
Final papers will be included in the conference proceedings, provided the papers are fully registered by at least one author and presented in person at the Conference.

  • October 30, 2018: Deadline for notifying the title of paper
  • November 20: Deadline for submission of full paper
  • January 20, 2019: Request for revision and clarification of the paper
  • February 14: Deadline for submission of modified paper
  • February 28: Deadline for confirmation of final paper
